Jupiter/Saturn Conjunction (T-8 days)


8 days before the very close conjunction of Jupiter & Saturn, both planets already fit within the full-frame field of view of a camera on a 1000mm scope. Saturn is at upper left. Jupiter and the 4 Galilean moons are at lower right. Enlargements are below. The photo above is pretty close to what can be seen visually with good binoculars.
